Bobby Gould has moved quickly to ease the defensive crisis at Whaddon Road by capturing Hull Citys Greg Strong on a month long loan deal.

Greg has found himself out of the team and stripped of the 'Tigers' captaincy since the arrival of Peter Taylor, he has only played 3 first team games for Hull this season, he was sent off in one and dislocated an elbow in another.

Last season Strong was named Motherwells player of the season, but was forced to leave due to the clubs financial plight and was snapped up for Hull by the ever popular Jan Molby.

Talking about his latest signing, Bobby Gould told the official Robins site "As far as defenders are concerned we are down to the bare knuckles, ideally I would like to bring forwards in but at this moment in time we have to look at defenders and build on the defence."

New man Strong also had some words for the official site, "Hopefully the month will go well for both of us. If i can get in and have some good performances to help the team move up the table then we all come out winners."

Greg is availible for tonights rearranged game with Tranmere Rovers and we at cheltenhamtown.tk wich him all the best during his loan spell.
