Away with you Williams!

With many arrivals to the squad in the last week it was inevitable at some point that there would be a departure, and for the next month we will not be seeing Lee Williams face around the club as he has joined local side Halesowen Town on a months loan.
Unforunatly for "Willo" he has seen himself frozen out of the team under firstly Graham Allner and now Bobby Gould mainly because of the terrific form of Martin Devaney on the right wing, Devaney recently got man of the match in the recent 3-1 win over Tranmere Rovers.
The main reason for joining Halesowen is because of the locality of the club meaning less travelling for Lee. They currently lie in 20th position in the Dr Martens League just above the relegation zone.
There is no doubt that Williams could do a job in the 2nd Division and it is a surprise that no Division 3 club has come in for him, local teams Oxford and Bristol Rovers could have done with Lee's crossing ability in there Promotion and Relagation battles respectively.
Williams will be best remembered for his 30 yard thunderbolt shot in the 2nd leg of the Division 3 Play off semi-final at home to Hartlepool. Without that goal we would not be in Division Two now so we all wish Lee well for the forthcoming month.
