Lack of defenders see's Robins exit Trophy

Cheltenham crashed out of the LDV Vans Trophy after finishing the game with only 1 recognised defender on the pitch against Colchester United.

The Robins crashed out at the first stage of this tournament after going ahead in the first half through a Martin Devaney strike, however the U's equalised nearing half time with a neat finish from Joe Keith.

The second half saw Dave Bird and Shane Duff limp off through injuries and the defence that ended the game was: Graham Fyfe at right back, Odejayi (oh dear) Jamie Victory and Grant MCcann!

Substitute Rowan Vine scored the decisive goals in the second half after a woeful pass back by 'Ohdear'Jayi and a back post header in the final minute which I caught on camera below!
