Macclesfield Town vs Swansea City

Brian Flynn will take his Swansea City side to Moss Rose tonight to take on relegation troubled Macclesfield Town. The Swans will play on the back of three 1-1 draws that have not exactly helped their play-off hopes.

The last two of those draws were particularly disappointing, at home to 22nd place Rochdale one week ago and away to 19th placed Southend on Saturday.

However the Swans are undefeated in five games with two wins and three draws, but those draws need to be converted into wins if the Vetch Field team are to reach the play-offs.

No changes are expected to be made to the starting line up at Southend on Saturday with Murphy continuing in goals despite his red card.

New signing Paul Connor will be looking for his first goal for the club after a promising first game on Saturday, gaining an assist from Kevin Nugent's goal.

Macclesfield have ex-Swan Karl Munroe suspended and Steve Macauley is at least another week away from a return to first team action.

The game will be refereed by Graham Salisbury from Lancashire.

Both sides really need a win with The Swans seemingly slipping further and further away from the play-offs and Macclesfield looking to fight their way out of the bottom two.
