| Johnrose, 34, is the first player to leave after the departure of
Director of Football, Brian Flynn. Signed just over a year ago on a free transfer from Bury, Johnrose played 40 times for the Swans helping them retain their Football League status. The former Burnley man has found life hard this season after missing most games through injury. The reason behind the termination of his contract seems to be that the midfield ball winner wants to move back permanently to his native Preston to be with his family. One of Flynn's best signings, Lenny probably deserved more praise than he got in his time in South Wales. Even captaining the side on a couple of occasions he always worked hard for the team. We wish him all the very best wherever he goes. |
