Hussain Gets Something To Smile About

England captain Nasser Hussain paid tribute to Andrew Caddick and James Anderson after a crushing victory over Pakistan in Cape Town.

England raced to a 112-run win after Anderson claimed four for 29 to
restrict Pakistan to 134 all out. And Hussain was delighted to have won in front of a vociferous English
support. He told Sky Sports: "I'm very pleased. To see all these British people
here supporting us was magnificent. "The opening spell from the young lad (Anderson) and the old man
(Caddick) was excellent. "There was no looseness, it was spot on and it was a very good
performance." Man-of-the-match Anderson revealed the early wickets of Inzamam-ul-Haq
and Yousuf Youhana - both for ducks - gave him a confidence boost. He said: "It (the ball) was swinging early and it continued swinging
for 20 overs "Obviously it was swinging nicely and I had a lot of confidence - it
was good to take those two wickets." Pakistan captain Waqar Younis conceded his men had been well below par. He added: "Of course it is very disappointing. Our performance was very
poor. "The ball was swinging a bit and full credit to England - they did
well. "We have still got three more games and they are very important. We
have to make sure we can put our heads together and come back hard again." Waqar believed Pakistan's fate will be decided by their clash with
India, saying: "That game will decide where we stand."
