The Zimbabwe Cricket Union have confirmed that their tour of England from May to July this year will go ahead.

The Zimbabwe Cricket Union have
confirmed that their tour of England from May to July this year will go
ahead. The ZCU held a board meeting in Harare and confirmed the tour,
featuring two Tests and a triangular one-day series with the hosts and
South Africa, was still on. ZCU chairman Peter Chingoka said the key factor was a reassurance from
the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) that England would honour their
commitment to tour Zimbabwe next year. He said: "The ZCU is obliged, as a member of the International Cricket
Council, to honour its commitments on the Future Tours programme for Test
nations, which schedule runs up to 2011. "The programme includes an England tour of Zimbabwe next year. ECB
chairman David Morgan confirmed that the tour will take place as
scheduled. "The ZCU board then discussed Zimbabwe's scheduled tour of England and
agreed that it should go on."
