Hussain Keeping Options Open

Hussain, who has quit as one-day skipper, admitted he had already considered halting his reign in the five-day game and would adopt a "wait and see" approach on his job after this season.

England face Zimbabwe at Lord's on Thursday in the first Test of the summer.

Asked if he had thought about resigning, Hussain said: "You think about it at times but have to do what's best for the team.

"I'm concentrating on leading us out against Zimbabwe, winning the Test series and then doing the same against South Africa. After that, we'll just have to wait and see."
