Jacques Kallis has been ruled out of South Africa's first Test against England.

Jacques Kallis has been ruled out
of South Africa's first Test against England. The all-rounder returned home following last week's NatWest Series
final at Lord's to visit his father, who has cancer. It was initially hoped Kallis would be able to rejoin the squad in time
for the Edgbaston Test which starts on Thursday.
