Springboks Draw Final Warm Up

South Africa's tour match with India A finished in a draw at Arundel after the Proteas bowling attack was denied for 43 overs.

India A started their second innings some 144 behind after Graeme Smith's side batted on to improve their overnight total from 342 for five to 463 all out.

South Africa, who play England in the first Test at Edgbaston on Thursday, were in with an outside chance of victory after Shaun Pollock and Monde Zondeki reduced their opponents to 35 for two.

However, Wasim Jaffer (54) and Hemang Badani (58 not out) shared a third-wicket stand of 101 and stumps were finally drawn at 160 for three.

Earlier, Boetha Dippenaar (37), Pollock (36) and Robin Peterson (32) had put South Africa into a commanding position.
