Woe for Walshe

An injury has cost winger Ben Walshe a place in the Rangers squad for this Saturday's match against fellow play-off contenders Plymouth Argyle.

Walshe, who was transfer-listed in the summer, impressed Ian Holloway in a reserve match against Portsmouth on Tuesday night and was going to be included in the travelling party this weekend.

But a slight knock has ruled him out of contention.

Dennis Oli and Gino Padula have also been nursing slight injuries but have been passed fit to play, while Marc Bircham and Dan Shittu will return from suspension to replace Richard Langley and Matthew Rose respectively.

Paul Furlong remains suspended.
