Digby gets new club

Fraser Digby's fears his professional career might end following his recent departure from Loftus Road have been allayed. The veteran goalkeeper has signed a short-term deal with Kidderminster.

Digby received a number of offers after leaving Rangers but his options have been limited as his family are settled in Wiltshire.

But the 36-year-old has agreed to turn out for Kidderminster following talks with manager Ian Britton.

Digby said: "The last few weeks have been chaotic and I have had a lot of offers since the story I was leaving Rangers was put in the newspapers.

"This suits me and it suits the club. It's a short-term thing for now and then perhaps we will both look at the situation and extend it.

"I'll be training with them twice a week for now and we'll see how things go. I'm really pleased."
