Heads up!!

Things are not right on the pitch but you have to take some positives from the Man U game, we had players in the team that had not played together in a premiership match, it has been said that not many other premiership teams would have done better against Man U at Old Trafford and I agree, We had so many missed chances a draw would have been a fairer result.
The good thing at the moment is we have just played the premiership leaders and narrowly lost a hard fought match.
There are some concerns at the moment with Lennon's injury and the form of Davids, Jenas is not playing at his best yet big MJ continues to play them, we are desperate for a LW and Davids is definately NOT the answer, I noticed a marked improvement in our play on Saturday once Davids had gone off.
We can take a small amount of consolation in the fact that the other supposed 3 of the supposed top 4 are not playing at their best either, Arse*al, Chelski and Liverpool have all faultered in the opening games. The other Eufa cup position hopefuls, (Bolton, Newcastle, Wet Spam etc) have also had their own hic-ups.
We are still only 4 games into a very long season (although with every game the season gets shorter so the need to improve gets a tad more desperate.)
Our next game is the first game in the Eufa Cup for many a year, Slavia Prague will not be a push over but I am confident that if we play like we have just played against Man U that a good result is on the cards, and I class a score draw a good result away from home in Europe, leaving us to do the business at WHL in the return fixture.
Its far too early in the season to be calling for Jols head like some 'supporters' have been doing, I have been supporting this team long enough now to know that this is not the answer, he needs his time, remember we are still in a 5 year plan and not half way through it yet. I am sure that the board know this as it does seem that he is in discussions over an improved contract.
We need to keep our heads up, stay upbeat and a good result on Thursday will do it for me.
