Hoddle "Revenge not an issue"

Glenn Hoddle has today stated that 'revenge' is not an issue as he takes Spurs to face Blackburn at Ewood Park today.

Blackburn ended the fairytale ending for Spurs in the Worthington Cup final in February, this being after Spurs banished their 10 year curse beating rivals Chelsea in emphatic style.

However Hod wants his men to stay focused on claiming 3 points today to strenghen our league position.

"We had a good performance in the week after letting ourselves down and we've got to get back to putting points on the board before the international break.

"If we can stay in the position we are now, or even improve on it, that will be important because after the break the likes of Steffen Freund, Steve Carr, Gus Poyet, maybe Ledley King, Anthony Gardner could be ready to perform so that will strengthen the squad."
