QPR to Rival Wolves for Spurs Ferdinand

Queen's Park Rangers of the second division are set to compete with first division Wolves for the signature of Les Ferdinand.

The former England star started his career at Loftus and has always kept strong links with the club, recently donating a large sum of money to help them in hard financial times.

Wolves have recently been linked with a loan deal for Ferdinand as the striker has been frustrated with his lack of chances at Spurs.

Rangers would be keen to offer him a loan deal till the end of the season with view to sign on a bosman when his contract is up.
