Spurs News: Response to reports concerning Poyet

Although Poyet has had a lot of criticism recently (mostly deserved), some recent reports relating to an interview on skysports have put into question his loyalty to the club.

However it appears these comments were mis-construed vastly and a poster from the NLP message board wants to put this right;

I saw it,
He said he wasn’t good enough to hold down a regular 1st team place anymore (i.e. relies on team-mates too much and cant produce the magic himself anymore), said would be 'seriously thinking about his career in the summer' i.e. retiring to a coaching career at the end of the season. The surprise in the sky people was because they were kissing his bum all day as usual and reckoned he could carry on earning a lot more money playing for a lesser team than in a coaching role if he wanted to... They admired his honesty cos he basically admitted he was past it.
How it could be twisted into an anti Tottenham statement is beyond me.

As usual we urge that you check NLP for all Tottenham related news.
