Spurs news: More Blatter blasting

Bolton ‘s Sam Allardyce yesterday joined the growing list of critics who think many of Sepp Blatters ideas are just blatantly preposterous.

Blatter has recently called into question how our game is organised and has suggested that the Premier league be reduced to 18 teams and that FA cup replays should be abandoned. He thinks the English play TOO much football. Whilst, and if taking into consideration the fact we want to reduce the amount of football, he may have a point, what the hell is he doing saying we need to reduce the amount of football played in the first place? Who says we play too much football, oh Blatter does! What a load of nonsense. If we implemented his changes then all this would do is lead to more elitism and would segregate those smaller clubs further.
He also wants to ensure all teams in administration are relegated. Well looks like he will have to relegate some of the top teams from Serie A as well then. This guy clearly has no idea and often engages mouth before brain.
We need to keep the league as it is, and we need to provide as much financial support to those teams who need it (i.e. via FA cup replays). If the top two teams have issues with the amount of games played then tell them to make sure they are knocked out of the cup/s earlier or *** off out of our league. Who cares if they play in 4 differing competitions, it all part and parcel of being a successful team.
This pressure of playing regular football means that the “top teams” have to ensure that they have larger squads in order to accommodate these extra games. However this allows other teams the opportunity to take advantage of this “game-management” (other-wise known as “fielding weaker sides”) and close the gap in any number of ways. This in turn allows other teams such as Middlesboro & Bolton to explore alternative ways of making it into Europe, as opposed to just via the league. If blatter continues to meddle and support what the likes of Arsen and Fergie constantly say then football will end up with the “hierarchy” dictating how football should be played (ala England and Sven).

We do not want to emulate the Scotland situation where the top 2 teams cannot be caught (in any way, shape or form) and this is why someone needs to stand up to Sepp and ensure that there is always a chance of parity within our league.

“"Sepp Blatter? Who is he?" Allardyce told Sky Sports News.
"It astounds me somebody like him is the head of football.
"I never have (liked him), never will do.
"I don't think the man knows how the game is run. He thinks he knows better than us in The Premiership but I don't think he's in touch with reality."

Incidentally when I entered his name into the Cambridge online dictionary http://dictionary.cambridge.org/ the first three results returned were balder balderdash ballotrigging, hmmm, interesting eh.
