Spurs News - We Got Beat...So What?

Ok, we lost to an 88min great goal away to Grimsby.... was it that much of a shock ? It happens all the time in cup football and is never going to stop and it was only a matter of time before our club felt what it was like.
Give Grimsby some credit, they played really well and defended solidly. With all the 2nd half pressure we couldnt create a pass back to their keeper never mind a clear cut chance. It happens, it hurts, but as I have said many times before, there's really no point in cursing the players, they are going to feel a whole lot worse than us as they have to explain to Jol what happenes and Jol is going to have to explain to Levy what went wrong.
Seriously, all your championship manager expertise doesnt bode well in real life football, and all this - sell him, he's ****, or **** him and drop him is absolute nonsense. Take a look at yourselves, yeah it was an embarassing defeat, but the true mark of a supporter is how you deal with these type of games/results as you know they are going to happen at some point.
Go to bed, get some sleep, it will still feel like $hit in the morning but at least 1% of you will stop calling half the side tw-ats and accept the fact that we were not good enough TONIGHT. 99% of you will still come out with these really stupid formations (honestly, ask your misses to hide your champ manager copy) and curse the squad, but again, thats just the way you are, but I feel for the team tonight and in times like this I prefer to support the club.
