JULY TRANSFER NEWS Fact or not rumours always surface and Spurs always seam to be in the headlines more than most at this time of year, maybe its the pots of cash levy currently has stuffed into his Natwest piggy bank that starts the rumours but anyway here goes, Transfer-o-meter starts. .

Various sites reporting a 2007 Jan arrival for that veteran Argentine, he has had a strong World Cup campaign and showed some very good qualities. Cant see this coming to fruit.

Curtis Davis (West Brom) £5.5million+

West Brom defender Curtis Davies a £5.5 million target for us and we are using Davenport and a barganing tool. A good solid player who last season did a fine job and whist he would be welcome by varius fans at WHL Im sure he will not provide the quality needed for a Champions League spot. £5.5 mil is alot of money then so is the same price for Heskey - transfer market gone mad.

60% Stat Rating - Every Chance



Harry Kewell (Liverpool) £6million

Oh dead oh dear, Kewell has not done well at Liverpool or on the International stage, dont get me wrong he is a good player played in the right system, but he has been off the boil for far too long.

20% Stat Rating - Falls Flat



Marek Jankulovski (Milan) £8million

One of the casulties of the great Italian match fixing cartell, and what a fantastic signing he would be. A great winger who can play on either side but would he come to us ?! Who knows but I would welcome him with open arms to WHL.

50% Stat Rating - This could float



Stuart Downing (Boro) £5million - £8million

Done well for Boro and one of the shining lights in their UEFA Cup push but has fallen flat in an England shirt. I have some serious questions to ask of Downing as he has had one good season, I'd like to see him with another good season under his belt before he comes to us. Anyway a useful addition.
