Top of the table Rushden and diamonds visit Shrewsbury this Saturday, and will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the third division. Last season Rushden done the double over them, so confidence will be running high.
The only doubts for Brian Talbot for Saturday are Bignot, Peters and Tillson, but the latter is the likeliest to come through.
Hunter is suspended for the game, and dempster is expected to start again in the centre of defence after impressing in the Kidderminster game. D.Talbot and Burgess will fight for the left wing role.
The game will be expected to be a good contest up front as lowe for Rushden and Rogers for Shrewsbury are among the best strikers in the 3rd division, and with Darby back to form there will certainly be goals. Although Rogers took a knock against Southend he’s back in training and should figure in the Shrews starting line up.
Shrewsbury: played 3 won 2 lost 1 pts 6
Rushden: played 3 won 2 drew 1 pts 7
