Diamonds look to beat the Dambusters!!

Last time Rushden and Diamonds visited Sincil Bank in month last year they emerged victorious in a 4-2 thriller. This season that score line looks unlikely due to the sound defensive displays at home by Lincoln and Rushdens pensive away form.

Lincoln have only conceded 6 goals at home this season but the Diamonds have shown good form of late picking up their only two away victories at Hartlepool and Rochdale. This all adds up to a potentially intensive game.

Rushden will be without influential striker Onandi Lowe who serves a one match suspension after picking up 5 yellow cards. Therefore, Welshman Robert Duffy should get another chance especially after his FA Cup brace at the weekend. Paul Hall should return on the right wing but David Bell may continue in the side following his impressive start as a first team player.

Lincoln may include former Diamonds youngster Richard Butcher who has just completed a free transfer from Conference relegation certainties Kettering Town. Butcher has signed a two year deal.
