Rushden to get in the Christmas spirit?

Rushden and Diamonds could extend their 100% league record to a club record seven games if they beat Carlisle on Saturday, which would be a perfect Christmas present for all Diamonds fans.

With less than a week until Christmas Day the Rushden squad will be looking to give the supporters a boost before the festivities begin. Billy Turley is still out due to his calf injury sustained in training. Therefore, Adam Sollitt will make his home debut. Stuart Gray will also miss out meaning David Bell will get another chance to shine.

Carlisle will be aided by the postponement of their FA Cup Second Round Replay against Scunthorpe scheduled to take place on Thursday night.
