This is our new weekly review of a League of Wales club site. We're going in alphabetical order, and so far we have reviewed Bangor, Afan Lido and Aberystwyth's best sites.

SITE HISTORY

The site has been online for a creditable 3 years now, first going out in June 1999

ARTICLES

Fantastic articles, there is a section dealing with the Cymru
Alliance which just blows away anything else online.

STATS

The statistics for me are the best around, if I need to find
anything on the cymru alliance I check this site.  There are
comments on each player from clubs in that league.  Really
impressed. 

PHOTOS

There aren't many photos as far as I can gather but really
this site doesn't need any!  It stands on it's own without
visual extras.  I personally like my photos though and feel
that if there were a few added on it would enhance it
even more.

DESIGN

Very good too, it's all broken down into easy to follow
sections. This is a site to cover all the levels of football
of Wales and Mike Smith's knowledge of North Wales
football shines through.

GOOD THINGS

So many! Haven't got anywhere near enough room or time to list all the good things about this site. It certainly contains a wealth of stats though, not just on Bangor, but on the League of Wales and beyond, making it a favourite site for all fans of Welsh football. 

BAD THINGS

Hard to find anything to fault with this site, a credit to the webmaster and Bangor City

FUTURE PLANS

Webmaster Mike Smith tells me ' to integrate more pictures, and possibly move to using dreamweaver in due course to make
it all look a bit more glossy.' Can the best get even better?!

RATING: 9/10 I was thinking of giving it 10 but there is always
a little room for slight improvements!

SITE HISTORY:

The site is already one of the longest running and established club sites, having been online for a year and a half. The site is averaging between 20-40 hits per day.

ARTICLES:

A couple of well written and informative articles. Looks a fairly new section, so hopefully, there should be more to come.

STATS:

The only real let down on the site is the lack of stats, however the official site concentrates more on this aspect.

PHOTOS:

Good picture of smart main stand at the Runtech Stadium on the home page for all to see and admire! If you click onto the youth side's pages you will find a number of pics on Lido's successful youth teams.

DESIGN:

Looks very smart, professional and user-friendly.

GOOD THINGS:

Links to Lido's youth team sites.

BAD THINGS:

The League Table hasn't been updated since April. 

FUTURE PLANS: 

Big changes in store for the site, and even a paper version of the site is planned to be launched this month. The changed should help maintain this site in the top three League of Wales clubs sites.

OVERALL RATING: 7/10 - One of the better club sites, that is well worth a visit.

ARTICLES:

Good collection of articles from last season.

STATS:

Some good old pictures of previous Aberystwyth teams,
could do with some more up to date statistics though.

PHOTOS:

Excellent.  One of the best collections of photos on a
welsh football site, these give the website the look
of a professional team I think.

DESIGN:

Very good, the use of the club colours of green and
black is excellent.

GOOD THINGS:

Link up with Aberystwyth student's site UWA Greens site (www.atfc.tk) and comprehensive coverage of Aber's reserve and youth teams.

BAD THINGS:

Very little to fault on this site. The messageboard is unfortunately not the busiest on the League of Wales scene but hopefully this will pick up as the season progresses.

OVERALL RATING:   8/10 , pay a visit now!
