TNS Chief chases Premiership pair

TNS Chief Mike Harris has announced the club are close to signing two English Premiership players, to boost their quest for the Welsh Premier title.

In an interview with the 'Oswestry Advertiser' Harris also added that their ambitious bid for Paul Gascoigne appears to be dead, with Gazza currently in China discussing a proposed move to their national league.

However Harris revealed 'We have now got the opportunity for two players who play for a Premiership club and we would want to explore that fully before rushing into the Gascoigne thing'

Harris will have to complete the transfers before the transfer window deadline, as it closes at the end of January.
