Trialists impress yet Dragons fall

Caersws' prolific striker Graham Evans and Bangor City's young midfield ace Owain Tudur Jones both played tonight in Wrexham's 2-1 reserve defeat to Stockport. 'Evo' gave Wrexham a first half lead, and 'Lofty' impressed with a powerful midfield performance.

Despite trialist Graham Evans giving Wrexham reserves the lead, the visitors came from behind to take 3 points back to Stockport.

'Lofty' and Evans both started, and neither looked out of their depth. Evans suffered from a lack of decent service in the 1st half but still caused problems for the County defence. Lofty was very strong, but seemed to tire in the 2nd half.

So well done to both trialists, they did themselves and the Welsh Premier proud.
