Barry's Brown Scoops Manager Of Month

Barry Town manager, Kenny Brown, has won the Loosemores Solicitors Manager of the Month award for March, after an impressive 100% record in both cup and league competitions.

The 35-year old former West Ham, Millwall and Crystal Palace defender has seen his side score 14 goals in just 3 Welsh Premier victories over Welshpool, Rhyl and Flexsys Cefn Druids. Brown was appointed manager of the Jenner Park outfit in October 2001, after a short spell as caretaker boss.

Brown's 'Dragons' have also reached the final of the Welsh Cup, after knocking out Rhyl 1-0 in the semi-final at Aberystwyth's Park Avenue ground.

Brown will be presented with the award before Barry's crucial home game against Afan Lido on Friday evening. Congratulations to Kenny for winning the award.
