Fashy the bush kangaroo

Day 3 in Dungate Creek for Fash. Tonight we saw Fash display his heroic side when saving a pair of fellow 'celebrities' from certain death at the camp toilets. Intriguing stuff...

John Fashanu displayed his heroic side tonight. With Welsh weathergirl Sian Lloyd and alcholic Phil Tuffnell stranded at the camp toilet with no lamp, Mr Fash heard their desperate cries for help. 'Quickly and quietly' Fash rose from his slumber, and in a rescue that 'Skippy the bush Kangaroo' would have been proud of, he guided them back. It was all too much for Sian and her posh Welsh accent. I think it was all planned. Sian obviously holds a 'torch' (no pun intended) for Fash and this opportunity to collapse into his arms was just too good to refuse.

Anyway, back to Fash. Asked if he was a 'hero', he replied 'Hero? Well, I don't know'. Quite. He went on to explain the danger of the situation...'If you don't calm yourself down - going to the toilet can be a real ordeal'. I hope someone reminds him that next time he's at Jenner Park lavotary block.

Despite saving our smiley weathergirl and that drunk cricketer, Fash was cruelly voted by the public to face his second 'bush tukka trial' challenge, the not-so-subltely named 'Bridge of Doom' (Cue scary voice) Those of you who saw Fash's first challenge will have witnessed him struggling to even reach the challenge area, when faced with crossing a suspension bridge high up in the rainforest canopy. His fear was calmed then by cries of 'Think Barry Town' from his weathergirl admirer, so expect more Barry references tomorrow when he relives his worst nightmare.

I think tomorrow's show is going to be quite interesting, for once....
