Welsh Premier Player of the season, Simon Davies, has moved from Bangor City to league runners-up TNS. 'Shaker' has signed a 2 year professional contract with the Llansantffraid based club.
'The Citizens Choice' website confirm that TNS had approached the ex-Manchester United star during the season but failed at that stage.
Davies is sure to have been attracted by the lure of UEFA Cup football and the chance to get back into the professional game.
However Bangor boss Peter Davenport has been quick to replace this major loss with 2 new signings. Denbigh Town's top scorer Gary Roberts and utility man Peter Hoy from Bangor's chief hunting ground, Cammell Laird have both moved to Farrar Road in preperation for the 'Citizens' Intertoto Cup campaign. 'Dav' has also confirmed he will be looking to further strengthen the squad before the June Intertoto deadline.
