Good news all round at Aber

Aberystwyth have confirmed the signing of former Wales U21 International Neil Gibson. The 23 year-old midfielder has first division experience with Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere Rovers. 

www.atfcnews.co.uk reports that Greens manager Gary Finley was delighted to clinch the former Rhyl loanees' signature today, and not last week, as had been reported in the Non-League Paper.

Gibson must feel like he's had a cursed season, as both clubs who he has represented, Southport and Halesowen Town have been relegated from the Nationwide Conference and Dr Martens Premier League respectively. He is sure to be looking forward to next season, as Aberystwyth launch a serious challenge for a top 3 place. 

The Greens have been further boosted by the news that Welsh Semi-Pro International Bari Morgan has chosen to stay at Park Avenue for another two seasons. Morgan was named Aber's player of the season and Vice-Chairman, David Evans was delighted to seal the deal at a meeting today. Morgan has attracted interest from an array of Nationwide League clubs, but the local lad was happy to commit his future to the Premier-Cup qualifiers, and is looking forward to playing alongside new-signing Neil Gibson in the Welsh Premier next season.
