Druids Slay Exiled Seagulls

There were two friendly matches involving Welsh Premier clubs tonight.

NEWI Cefn Druids recorded a 2-1 victory over contraversial Welsh exiles Colwyn Bay at Plaskynaston Lane.

Meanwhile, a few miles south in Llansantffraid, T.N.S beat Team Bath 1-0, the side who were last season famous for being the first University side to reach the first round of the English FA Cup in over a century. The winning goal was scored by Jamie Wood on 19 minutes. TNS will be pleased with the result against a side which contains several ex-Premiership and Nationwide starlets. The Saints begin a mini tour of Ireland on Saturday at Derry City as they prepare for their lucrative UEFA Cup tie with Manchester City.
