Newtown have been boosted by clinching the shock signing of prolific Caernarfon Town striker Danny Barton.

Prolific
Welsh Premier striker, Danny Barton, has joined Newtown from
Caernarfon Town
The
experienced striker joined Caernarfon two seasons ago from
Rhyl, for a fee rumoured to be £3k.
The
Canaries will be disappointed to have lost their key striker just a
few weeks before the new season kicks off. Barton, has claimed
family commitments as the main reason for his move to Latham Park.
Meanwhile new Robins boss Roger Preece
has also persuaded defender Danny Jellicoe and mifielder
Gareth Hughes to stay with the sleeping giants.
