UEFA U-Turn Gives Merger Green Light

T.N.S have been given the go ahead by UEFA to merger with local neighbours Oswestry Town, despite the new club being set to play over the border in Oswestry. UEFA have agreed to let the new club represent Wales in Europe

have finally been given the green light to proceed with their
merger with Oswestry Town following UEFA's decision to allow
the merged club to represent Wales in Europe whilst playing in
England.
After
rejecting the Saint's plans to play over the border last week,
UEFA overturned their decision following the club's appeal
explaining the history of Oswestry Town and its long-standing
membership of the FAW.
The new
club will seek to relocate to a new 3000 all seater purpose
built stadium in Oswestry within the next few years.
