Good news for Barry

Barry Town, and the Welsh Premier as a whole, breathed a huge sigh of relief as creditors accepted a 100k offer from Stuart Lovering for the Welsh Champions, saving the club from exstinction and giving them the opportunity for a fresh start.

Saviour Stuart Lovering, a local businessman told BBC Sport "I'm very happy and can't wait to get started, I'm a huge football fan and have always dreamt of running a club," he said. "All the debts have been paid off, we must keep within budget but there is money available for players and for improving facilities. We want Barry back challenging for the Welsh Premier title and playing in Europe."

Congratulations to Barry Town, and lets hope that the Dragons have a prosperous and debt-free future!
