Brabin Suffers Heart Scare

T.N.S. Club Captain, Gary Brabin, is recovering after suffering a heart scare during Saturday's Welsh Cup victory at Connah's Quay Nomads. The 33 year old has been told to rest for 6 weeks until further tests have been carried out.

The veteran defender/midfielder spent Saturday night in Liverpool Royal Infirmary Hospital, after suffering breathlessness and heart pains, where he was "advised not to train or play until further tests have been carried out" according to www.saints-alive.co.uk.

The news is a big blow to TNS manager Ken McKenna, who had just got his squad back to full fitness after a season that has been plagued with injuries.

Brabin was in the news for the wrong reasons before Christmas, after alledgedly punching a Rhyl supporter after a Welsh Premier match at Treflan. Brabin was later cleared of assault.
