League leaders Rhyl have bolstered their squad by signing Bangor City's young left winger Gary Roberts. The 19 year old has struggled to earn a first team place this season and rumours of a bust up with Manager Peter Davenport have seen the ex-Liverpool youth player move east along the A55.

Roberts follows ex-Citizens star Lee Hunt to Belle Vue, following his transfer from Farrar Road in January. He has seen his first team chances at Farrar Road limited this season, with fellow starlet Les Davies making the left wing spot his own.

Despite rumours of a rift with manager Peter Davenport, Davenport told www.citizens-choice.co.uk "I had hoped Gary would stay, but we wish him well for the future and hope this move works out for him.".
