Lucky Escape For Jones

Carmarthen's Rhodri Jones had to be revived and airlifted to hospital following an horrific incident during today's defeat at Porthmadog. In the 39th minute, the defender clashed heads with Ryan Davies, causing Jones to swallow his tongue. Thankfully Jones was revived by paramedics.

He was then airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, where club officials have confirmed he will be kept overnight under observation. This injury certainly put the result into perspective, which finished a 3-2 victory for the in-form hosts. Needless to say the visiting supporters and officials were just relieved Jones survived the ordeal.
