welsh-premier.co.uk - Under new management!

Hello! And welcome to a new era, under your new Webmaster. I'm probably more excited than you are! Don't worry, I won't be changing the site a lot, it will be the same old Welsh Premier community that it has always been! Read on for my welcoming speech.

This speech is a big thankyou to Rob Stock, firstly for putting his faith in a person he's never met before, and I know it's a big risk putting a "kid" in charge! Secondly, because my ambition has always really to be a sports journalist, which is what I'm going to try and do in university, so this experience of being a Webmaster, writing articles etc. will be a big help when applying for jobs in newspapers and the surrounding media. This is also a great opportunity for me to see if I am really right for that job.

Like I've said, I'm not going to change the site greatly, perhaps the additions of a couple of "specific" messageboards could do the site good, but I'll hear the ideas of the community first. With myself travelling around Wales every other week to games following Aberystwyth, I would appreciate greatly if other members of the community at grounds I visit, or even on the messageboards, could tell me if anything is going wrong with the site, or things you'd like to add to it, and I'll see what I can do.

This site has been running for 3 years, lets hope, under this new management, that it can run for a lot longer, and I think if I do only half as well as Rob has done in building this site and its community up, then I will have done a good job.
