Directions to Headingley Stadium
Travel Information from M1 and M62
Take M621 – Leave at junction 2, signposted Headingley Stadium. Follow the
A643 (A58) Wetherby road – at the next roundabout take the City Centre/Wetherby
A58 exit. Almost immediately, bear left to Ilkley (A65) and the airport.
At the lights (TGI Friday is on the left), turn left into Kirkstall Road A65. Go
straight on for about .75 mile (Yorkshire Television is on the right).
There is a sign at the traffic lights showing “Headingley 1.5 miles”. Stay
in the right-hand lane. Turn right and go up the hill to another set of traffic
lights at the crossroads.
Carry straight on up Cardigan Road (Co-op is on the left). After the pedestrian
lights and bus stop turn left into St. Michael’s Lane, signposted Headingley
Stadium. The Ground is on your right-hand side.
By Rail
Leeds City Railway Station is situated in the heart of the City Centre adjacent
to Leeds City Square. Leeds is located on the Eastcoast Rail Network. Local
stations close to Headingley Stadium are Burley Park and Headingley, within five
minutes walking distance.
By Air
The City of Leeds has its own International Airport situated North of the city.
All domestic and most European major airports can reach Leeds and Bradford
International Airport.
Road Directions from Leeds & Bradford Airport
Leave Airport and at roundabout turn right signposted A658 Harrogate. In 1.5
miles at traffic junction turn right onto A660 Leeds.
In 3 miles cross the A6120 – Leeds Outer Ring Road. Advance forward on the
A660 Leeds for 2 miles until traffic junction. At traffic lights turn right into
B6157 North Lane.
Follow road until next major traffic junction. Turn left into Cardigan Road.
Take first turning on the right for St. Michael’s Lane. Headingley Stadium is
on the right.
Public Bars
Before and after the game visit the Supporters Club in the South Stand car park,
the South Stand Bar or the Sports Bar under the Main Stand. Post match come over
to the Long Room situated in the East stand of the Cricket stadium which is
hosted by British Lion, John Bentley where he gets post-match reflections from
Jon Callard. All the Tykes squad will be present after they have finished their
post-match commitments in what is a fantastic venue! All are welcome!

Coach Parties
Organisers of coaches are invited to telephone Stephen Ball on 07771-732326 in
the week of the Tykes match and on approaching Leeds on matchday to be greeted
at the stadium and advised of official visiting coach parking arrangements and
the availability of a stadium bar for drinks and snacks.
Entertainment
Matchday entertainment includes the Tykes dance team, the Tetley’s Bomb
half-time competition hosted by British Lion John Bentley and mini rugby.
