Celtic Warriors?

There have been a number of reports which have stated that the new name for the Bridgend - Pontypridd regional team is Celtic Warriors. FOr more on this story read on.

There have been numerous reports today that the regional team will be called Celtic Warriors. This has not yet been confirmed by the Bridgend - Pontypridd regional team although the reports inform us that a board meeting has taken place over the weekend and the name has been decided.

 

Towards the middle of last week Pontypridd shareholders were sent a questionnaire by Gareth Thomas (CEO) inviting them to "vote" on one of the options for the regional name. However, shareholders had until Monday 7th July to return their forms to him and so if the name was decided by the board over the weekend then what was the point of the exercise?

 

We will bring you more on this story later in the week when the name of the region is expected to be officially unveiled.
