Munster 22 - 21 Warriors
Despite tries from Phil Booth and Aesia Havili as well as a conversion and 3 penalties from Neil Jenkins, the Warriors were not able to clinch a win against their Irish opponents. An injury time penalty was awarded to Munster which resulted in Neil Jenkins kicking the ball away and accidentally flooring referee Andrew Ireland in the process and then as the kick was taken there was understood to be some indecision by the touch judges as to whether or not the ball went between the sticks but the 3 points were awarded by the referee which gave Munster the win.
