The Warriors took on Leinster at a cold Donnybrook tonight, Away Welsh support there for the international ensured there was a packed crowd. It was an exciting encounter and the Warriors prevailed 37-16, for match report read on
The game kicked off and as expected the early exchanges were tight and fierce, Argentina fly half Contepomi missed an early opportunity.
The Warriors bounced to life and young wing Richard Mustoe went over in the corner after 6mins, Jinks slotted over his 38th Consecutive kick from the corner, what a player.
Leinster kicked a debatable penalty after the full back appeared to knock the ball on over the line. The Ref gave a scrum from which Chris Horsman dominated his prop and was bizarrely penalised.
Contepomi then scored an 80m interception try after the Warriors over complicated in midfield. He Converted to make it 10-7 to the Lions.
Leinster had problems from the restart, from the scrum Jinks broke then Martens went through the ruck and showed good pace to go under the posts, thrilling stuff, Jinks converted. 14-10 Warriors
Leinster pressure lead to 2 further Contepomi pens 16-14 Leinster.
Ref Rob Dickinson couldn’t keep his whistle in his mouth true to form, some of our offences were deserved but he was a bit too pedantic at times.
Jinks slotted a late pen to make the half time score

Great play from JB showing strength and turn of foot broke the line sold a dummy and fed Shaun James to go under the posts. Jinks converted.
Richie Bryan went off with a dislocated finger but returned soon after showing his hunger after coming back from a long injury.
The Warriors pressured and pressured and just could not score, Leinster broke from the 22 and were one pass from scoring. Warriors cover defence was just good enough.
Play got scrappy midway through the second half, Warriors continued to pressure and were rewarded with 2 further Neil Jenkins penalties. The game was won, Leinster heads started to drop.
The Warriors capped it off magnificently when great harrying defence made Leinster lose possession, the Warriors spread it wide and MOTM JB – Jonny Bryant storde over the line. Jinks converted.
The Warriors had done it, a bonus point win in fortress Donnybrook. Could not ask for more.
