Arwel and Ralph sign

The Celtic Warriors have been active in the transfer market this week. Making two big name signings, Arwel Thomas and Caleb Ralph. For further details read on.

After all the speculation of player departures it was vital that the Warriors made some big name signings................. and they have.

Former Wales no10 Arwel Thomas joins from Pau and All Black wing Caleb Ralph joins from Canterbury Crusaders.

Thomas returns to Wales next season after agreeing a one-year contract with the Celtic Warriors.

The former Wales fly-half has been playing in Pau for the past season, but has had his French experience blighted by injury. Lets hope he recaptures his best form.

Ralph has agreed in principle to join the Warriors in August on a two-year contract. The deal is dependent on his not being picked for the All Blacks' autumn tour to Europe.

In other news Warriors tight-head Chris Horsman, who qualifies for Wales on residency grounds in November, has agreed to a two-year extension to his contract which would take him to 2007.
