The Petition Handover

The Save The Warriors Petition was handed over today to Carwyn James AM who will present it to WRU Chairman David Moffett. For further news read on.
I got there ~1230pm, and witnessed Carwyn James taking the petition from Simon Green and going into his meeting from Moffet.
At ~1pm Simon was interviewed by HTV Wales, didn't hear exactly what he said but it will be repeated later, the last line he said was "If 100 Welsh Warriors can beat 10,000 Zulus then we can beat the WRU!" Classic!
Followed by Warriors shouts.
There was numerous press cameramen too.
The turnout was decent I estimate 200 or so, consider it was a Monday lunchtime and pretty short notice, there was a mix of supporters some from Pencoed, Maesteg and Treorchy.
There was 2 Ospreys fans there also who gave there support.
As I left down Wesgate Street I bumped into 2 Munster Fans who were a bit late as well, nursing hangovers from going to the HC Final the day before.
What next? At the minute I don't know, Jinks Testimonial and the Baa Baas games are obvious targets, until those just keep the pressure on the WRU. They cannot take rugby away from us.
A good day for the Save The Warriors campaign.
