This follows on from the report "Where Are The Crowds" several weeks ago.

It has gone unseen by many but here are last weekends Celtic League results:

Friday
Glasgow 40-29 Llanelli Scarlets
Newport-Gwent D'gons 16-17 Edinburgh
Ulster 30-14 Cardiff Blues

Sunday
Neath Swansea Ospreys 9-10 Connacht

Whilst in the Millenium Stadium the national side were performing heroics and coming within a point of the All Blacks the "Regional" sides all lost tamely.

Lets take a look at the matches:

Glasgow 40-29 Llanelli Scarlets - Glasgow of last but one in the table last season.

Newport-Gwent D'gons 16-17 Edinburgh - Edinburgh's 1st side were performing creditably against Australia at Hamden.

Ulster 30-14 Cardiff Blues - Last season this wouldn't have been so bad, Ravenhill was a fortress this season is a different story, Ulster are going downhill fast and without their talisman Humphreys they still hammer the Blues.

Neath Swansea Ospreys 9-10 Connacht - The Great Welsh Hope lose at home to Ireland's underfunded "4th Region".

Whilst some may say the Internationals were missing sides like Edinburgh were hit harder and these defeats represent a new low for the regions.

David Moffet can only hide for so long behind the national side, with the last of the Autumn internationals on Friday the focus will return to the "Regions".

If they all bomb out of the Heinken Cup and keep up the dismal effort in the Celtic League then something will have to be done.

Our base is too small, interest in the game is at an all time low.
