Charity Game Blow
The Tsunami charity game between Wales and England classics has suffered a blow from the WRU who have forbid Bridgend and Aberavon to rearrange their fixture at Aberavon's Talbot Athletic Ground which will now take place at the same time as the Charity match.
Both Bridgend and Aberavon are happy to re-arrange the game and the is only on the friday as it was re-arranged from the Wed at the request of the WRU to facilitate a junior international at Aberavon.
It leaves the Bridgend faithful with an impossible choice, all have been starved of top rugby since the death of the Warriors and this game would have been well received.
Do the WRU hold some kind of grudge against Leighton Samuels and Bridgend RFC to the extent that they are unwilling to be flexible over re-arranging a game and damage the gate receipts and thereby the amount donated to such a worthy cause.
