Josh Rejoins Bridgend

Former Bridgend Ravens crowd favourite Siua "Josh" Taumalolo has put pen to paper for next season. For full details of this coup for Bridgend read on.

Its a great boost for the club and the town that a player of the stature of Josh has decided to rejoin Bridgend Ravens.

Josh was one of 4 Tongan internationals who helped Bridgend win the championship season 2002/03 the others were:

Maama Molitika - Spent a successful season with the ill fated Warriors, now playing for Cardiff.

Sililo Martens - Also had a good season with the Warriors, now up at the Sale Sharks.

Aisea "Idris" Havilli - Had a mixed season with the Warriors, played in fits and starts for the Scarlets this season.

Josh left Wales at the advent of Regional rugby and initially went to the Harlequins before joining Sale, no doubt the Zurich Premiership would have matured him as a player.

Josh was known at Bridgend for his hard hits and brilliant angles of running, his presence in the Bridgend side will bring in the crowds and the talented youngsters around him can only learn from the now experienced international.
