Would you Adams and Eve it? Rock Star Bryan Adams is set to play the Brewery Field, home of Bridgend Ravens for full details read on.

Rock star Bryan Adams is set to make the summer of ’06 one to remember for music fans in Bridgend.

The Canadian rocker has lined up a gig at the Brewery Field on June 2 as part of his 2006 European Tour.

Adams now 46 played Cardiff Arms Park in July 1992 at the height of his fame during a 16 week stint at the top of the charts with Everything I Do I do it for you.

Brewery Field chief exec Chris O’Callaghan said "Bryan Adams' people have been here to look at the site and now we are making a presentation to Bridgend CBC because something of this size has to be a joint venture.

"We want the Brewery Field to be a full and vibrant venue for all kinds of things as well as top flight union and league.

"Ultimately the land is owned by the council and we want to involve all parties because if we can get someone like Bryan Adams to appear here, it will be massive for the town as well."

Zippy View:

Since the loss of top flight union the Stadium has been a bit of a White Elephant but with this and Crusaders accompanying the Ravens and the prospect of the football club using the venue the future of the Brewery Field looks good.

Tickets will go on sale from February 1st, for more info go to http://www.bryanadams.com
