Everton will come up against a Goodison legend in the third round of the FA Cup when they travel to Gay Meadow to take on Shrewsbury. The Third Division outfit are managed by former captain Kevin Ratcliffe.

David Moyes will also face an old club after representing Shrewsbury earlier in his career, and has stated that they don't expect an easy tie, saying:

“We would have rather have been at Goodison, but we have had hard away draws in the Worthington Cup this season and we will be treating Shrewsbury Town as we did Wrexham, Newcastle and Chelsea."

Meanwhile David Unsworth is set to appeal against his dismissal against Chelsea, stating, "Everybody I’ve spoken to has been honest with me and told me that they believe that it wasn’t a red card. There was only one man in the ground who thought it was – and that was the referee. Let’s hope he changes his mind." Unfortunately refs tend to be a stubborn bunch.
