Linderoth unhappy at his mirror image

Tobias Linderoth as denied claims in today's Daily Mirror that he attacked the city of Liverpool in a Swedish paper. The injured Swede has responded to the claims that while he is happy at Everton, he dislikes the city.

Linderoth told www.evertonfc.tv,

“I am very disappointed at the comments that have been attributed to me in a national newspaper this morning."

“I would like to take this opportunity to put the record straight. I have been delighted with the warmth and generosity that has been shown to both my girlfriend and myself since we arrived on Merseyside, and we are both extremely upset and embarrassed by this morning's false allegations."

Lets hope that Tobias gets back to full fitness, as he was in impressive form prior to his injury. While Moyes has been settled in most of his selections he seems a bit doubtful as to which central midfield pairing is his most effective. Moyes has benefitted from a strong squad competing for starting spots, and will no doubt hope that Linderoth will be ready to push Gemmill, Tie and Gravesen for their places. Hopefully the Swede will not be too unsettled by today's happenings.
