Just two days after Sunday’s French Grand Prix, the Honda Racing F1 Team was back in action today at the Silverstone circuit, located seven miles from the team’s headquarters in Brackley, Northamptonshire. The three-day test will focus on the evaluation of the latest upgrade package for the RA108 car.

The team will also prepare for the next race on the Formula One calendar, the British Grand Prix taking place on Sunday 06 July.

Jenson Button began the test today and will drive for the first two days of the programme with Rubens Barrichello taking over the car on Thursday, giving both race drivers the opportunity to evaluate with the new developments.

Jenson covered 91 laps today as he worked through a series of aerodynamic evaluations around the 17 turns of the 3.194-mile Silverstone circuit.
